How does proper preventative HVAC maintenance save me money?
HVAC is your #1 controllable cost. Skirting proper preventative maintenance is akin to not taking your car in for a tune-up and oil change. If you were to skip your car maintenance, you could be sure that you’d run into a much more costly repair –likely at the most inopportune time! At NAC, each preventative maintenance plan is designed to extend the life of your equipment and maintain its efficiency. Our preventative maintenance tasking is tailored to your equipment and performed by technicians with a proven track record of high customer satisfaction.
How quickly can you get a HVAC technician onsite?
We understand that customers often need quick turnaround times, even during high volume call times and in rural areas, which is why we partner with contractors that have the capacity required to dispatch technicians swiftly. In most cases, we can have a technician onsite by 5:00 p.m. the same day. Emergency after-hours calls are generally dispatched within 2-4 hours.
How is your service different from an all-in-one management company?
We are not a call center simply dispatching calls to the cheapest contractor available. We understand that not every location is the same; we match contractors to locations based on the equipment on site. NAC has established an industry-standard network of exceptional contractors based on an extensive vetting process. With more than 100,000 HVAC contractors to choose from across the United States, NAC has selected its high-performing 150 contractor family based on reputation, knowledge & expertise, shared values, and reliability. Additionally, everyone at NAC has industry training and experience –we have spent our careers focused strictly on HVAC to provide the best solutions and service for our customers’ needs. In short, we are not a jack of all trades, but we are experts in the HVAC industry, and we will save you money.
How come you don’t list general package options?
Every location is different, and there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to mechanical equipment. It’s crucial to understand the customer’s industry and their needs, as well as the type of equipment on site. This is why we’ll visit each of your locations to record equipment information and condition to familiarize ourselves with site accessibility. Having this information ensures that the necessary tasking is being performed - in the most efficient manner - by technicians that have equipment-specific expertise. Additionally, we can streamline your program by not padding the preventative maintenance cost due to site access unknowns. It’s pretty challenging to price preventative maintenance programs without knowing the equipment and site, though it’s a terrible model that is still being widely used. The result? Higher costs to the customer for tasking that may not even be beneficial to their equipment, or a lower cost to the customer that ensures future breakdowns and service calls.
How can I be sure I’m getting the best price on HVAC service calls?
You can take this off your plate –we will ensure that all work performed on your equipment is necessary, and the pricing is fair. We have personally serviced and installed all types of HVAC equipment. As such, we know what’s involved –number of technicians needed, number of labor hours required, cost of equipment, cost of replacement parts, cost of refrigerant, etc. We speak to technicians while they’re onsite performing the work and meticulously review work tickets and costs afterward. If something doesn’t add up, we make adjustments prior to passing along costs to our customers.
Can I give National Air Corporations’s number to all of our locations, or do I have to be the one placing all of the calls?
This is entirely up to you! Some of our customers have 1-2 approved contacts placing calls and approving proposals; others prefer that individual locations handle placing their own HVAC calls. Either way, all calls (or e-mails, if you prefer) will come to NAC.
I know we need to make a change, but I really don’t have the time to make that happen right now. How much will I have to be involved?
As little or as much as you want. Generally, all we need is a list of locations with location contact information. If you have equipment information, that is helpful but not necessary –we’ll either verify what you have or put together our own equipment list. Sometimes customers like to send out a mass e-mail to all of their locations to let them know to expect a call from us. Once we have contact information, we’ll handle everything! We’ll coordinate a site visit directly with the location, gather equipment information, and put together preventative maintenance pricing. Once approved, each location’s information will be input into our proprietary database for quick access to equipment information, install dates, preventative maintenance, service call tracking, etc. We’ll also gather all certificates of insurance to keep on file at our offices. The transition is seamless – our goal is to make HVAC the last thing you have to think or worry about and save you money!
